Galya Budagova is a London-based, self-taught photographer born in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, in 1997, and raised in Moscow, Russia. Since 2016, she has embarked on a journey through Asia, Africa, and Europe, honing her craft in photography. Working predominantly with film photography, her work delves into the themes of intimacy and self-identity, presenting photography as her personal diary, a visual language through which she shares her experiences. Initially starting as a documentary photographer, she has evolved into a genre that intersects documentary and portraiture. Her work has garnered recognition with exhibitions and publications across Europe, Asia, and Africa. Since 2024, she has been based in London with a talent visa in visual arts.
All prints are made to order on epson paper with a satin mat finish. The price of the print is dependent on its sizing.
